Nail polish remover (even the one without acetone) dissolves the veneer of the wooden table in my living room.

We missed Talvekoidik and barely saw the last 2 songs of Vomito Negreo, but

• Bought 2 pendants (with necklace) at the market (made a photo of one of them, going to use it as 'balfolk' icon). All silver was 50% off! How could I resist?
• Dinner at Mahanakorn (Thai, again dinner in 30 minutes, impressive!)

• Bought a nice brick red cotton shirt and black cape with hood (preparing for possible rain at Castlefest next weekend)

 This weekend I'm having a nice time with alexilian at the annual Summer Darkness festival again. We saw VNV Nation yesterday night and it was, as always, an excellent concert. A nice dinner was had at restaurant Blauw (i.e. Dutch for 'Blue', where everything is red inside, don't ask me why) but it took some effort to make their 'Vegetarian Rijsttafel' ( Read more... )

EDIT: Well, that went mostly according to plan.

This weekend is the weekend of "Summer Darkness" maybe the biggest multi-day goth festival in the Netherlands (in English, or Dutch).

Most of the concerts are on 3 different venues spread over the center of Utrecht.
